What is this e-Genda Project?

Our project is a implementation of a time management system that uses many different existing and open-source software projects to deliver live and accurate event reminders to your cell phone or favorite email account. Since most major cell phone providers offer SMS messaging to send text messages between clients and servers, very similiar to e-mail, it allows us, using our TimeManager dameon, to send text messages containing short event reminders directly to your phone.

Here is some of the software packages we use to accomplish this:

How does it work?

Most people have a calender where they keep their upcoming events written down. Their calendar probably isn't accessable everywhere nor does it find them to reminder them of upcomming events. This is something that e-Genda can accomplish through your phone or email. By using our web-based interface backed by a robust reminder system e-Genda can build different events and reminders off your calendar then remind you at the time(s) you specify. If you have a specific time when you want to be sent a reminder for many events you can just create a reminder scheme and apply it to many calendar event. With e-Genda you will begin recieving live text reminders directly to your cell phone or email account, wherever you are. No more synchronization of many devices(PDA's, cell phones, computers) just to keep track of your schedule!
